THE PROBLEM

Due to its age and proximity to the ocean, this prestigious residential building, occupying a prominent site in beach side Manly, had suffered long term weathering resulting in substantial corrosion and concrete deterioration.

THE SOLUTION

Using swing stages and boom lifts, and maintaining close liaison with the owners, the works were carried out in a four-part process:

• Cracks and concrete spalling repaired
• New movement joints installed
• Polymer based render system applied
• A multi-layer protective coating applied to the building.

THE RESULT

A quality project completed on time and to budget, and the building “looking like new!”
